Family friendly pub that also welcomes dogs. Worth booking in advance as very popular at weekends. We were told there was a 45 minute wait on food but it was actually only about 20 min. Veggie burger oozed hot cheese. The BBQ cauliflower wings were the best bit - they should definitely consider doing this as a main dish! Cow burger was deemed tasty and filling. Very good value. Would recommend.

Had a carvery, which was excellent, everything cooked to perfection. It's a bit of a barn of a place made to look old but comfy enough. The staff were very efficient and quick but didn't seem all that friendly. A few more smiles would have made us feel more welcome. Having said that we went for nice food and that's what we got. Will be back.

We had a table booked for 7.15 but got there really early which was not a problem as there was loads of empty tables. We ordered the carvery. I was not impressed with the quality of the veg it looked like it had been sitting there a while but it was half 7 by the time we had food so it could of been the lateness. Staff were friendly and polite so no real issues
