I had the Sea Bass (photo attached), while my mate had the chicken. We were informed the chicken would be a 25 minute wait to cook it (perfectly reasonable) and it was, exactly. Both meals arrived hot at the same time, showing great timing from the chef. Presentation was immaculate, and the sea bass was perfectly cooked. Service was fast, and polite.
We did go on a Monday night though, so things may change when busy.
I was working in Glasgow and liked the look of this place, so popped in for lunch. I loved the decor - painted bricks, open fire, turquoise velvet seats - as well as the general ambiance. They even had a selection of papers to read; always great for a solo diner. I had Mee Goreng from the lunch menu, which was just £5, and was really impressed: a very generous portion of steaming noodles bursting with flavour. The waitress was quite happy to give me a glass of tap water as my only drink as well. If I were in the area again I'd definitely return, and whole-hardheartedly recommend this restaurant.
Lovely little homely restaurant. They do a great 2 course deal for £11.95 and the quality and selection is brilliant. They are dog friendly and very accommodating.
