I have eaten in this place every time I have been to Glasgow. Food is more suited to western palate. However still very tasty. Huge selection of foods to cater for all food types. They make a banging sweet lassy

My go to place for pizzas. Their village special and curry pizzas are really good. This time it was Chilli chicken., spot on as always. Quick over the phone but polite over the counter. Good service and relaxed atmosphere. Top notch

We had a superb lunch. Friendly staff and excellent food. What else could we ask for ?

Cant fault the place. First time there, quickly seated (had a reservation) and attended too. Food was amazing and fantastic value for what we paid, very reasonable compaired to others. Definetly worth another visit.

Ambience: The restaurant felt more of canteen/hostel style, so wouldn’t recommend for quiet/romantic dinners. There are no side/corner tables so everyone can almost see everyone.
Food: Had Veg Biryani, Chilli Paneer, Naan and Paneer Butter Masala. Authentic, tasty, great variety, reasonable prices - ticked all options mostly. However, felt unnecessary usage of food colouring and oil. In curries, you could see a very thin layer of red-coloured oil floating.

The food was amazing Masha Allah,
Even though we ordered medium spice it was quite spicy but the flavour was “chefs kiss”
The mocktails were very yummy!
Unfortunately I can’t upload videos of the food!

Excellent food, made fresh and reasonably priced. Been there many times and cannot fault it. It isn’t a licensed restaurant, their commitment is on the food.

Recently my wife and I visited The Village for lunch. The food is always great with generous portions. The establishment is clean. The prices are fair. The staff are friendly and attentive. There is parking available outside the Restaurant although it does have double yellow line markings but we've always been safe.

This place is classicly well known in Glasgow.
Genuinely, one of the best places to eat if your after a home cooked style desi munch.
I have been here 15+ times. Honestly reviewing they have had days where the food can be better BUT when these guys perform it rivals alot of top tier places.
The reason the food is a 5 is because they will genuinely make the food to spec, it will be delicious and instructions are relayed specifically.
Theres a manager that has been working here for some time, hes good at what he does, is very respectful, sharp and it all shows. However, apperances and some customer service aspects need slightly improving. I.e., proactiveness.
I have had a range of dishes here but standardly as a rule its good to stick to the classics. This place is not 'lets try something different'. Its lets get an amazing classical balti or tandoori curry.
Never had a really long wait whilst ive been and if there are any issues they get resolved reasonably.

Met some friends for lunch. Waitress was very polite and helpful. Food was good and reasonable priced. I had the masala salmon and chips for a change which I enjoyed. They have their own car park which was useful, it's not huge but there were plenty of spaces at lunchtime.
