The Rogano - Glasgow - Photo album

Deserves way more than 5 stars! Old school posh decor that makes it feel like an immersive experience into the 80’s but it really works! The food was excellent! Best scallops I’ve ever tasted. Reliable tasty oysters.
When visiting the Rogano it was a very relaxing atmosphere. The waitress that served us was very helpful and attentive. The meal was lovely and the cocktails went down a treat. Would highly recommend the skiitake haggis dish. Wasn't my usual way to have haggis but was unusual and very delicious.
Excellent - it's a little dates and could do with being freshened up. The food was excellent - the Rockefeller and Mornay oysters were incredible. The hot seafood platter was spectacular. Also the deserts was lovely.
This restaurant lived up to my expectations. Classic Art Deco style. Great atmosphere with attentive and friendly waiters. Fresh fish and seafood, excellent cuisine and wine selection. Highly recommend.
Had a fabulous two course lunch coffee, teas & petit fours with family. The staff were excellent and served well, special mention to our server as it was only his 3rd day on the job. Very well done. We were complimented on our choices from the menu. It was a tough decision to choose just one meal s
Really well done food - both in taste and plating! OMG - the Halibut Mac & Cheese was amazing.
Went for my birthday and had a lovely meal great drinks in a really relaxed atmosphere. So chilled had the best time. Matahari and Rockefeller oysters are a must.
The food was fabulous, very attentive staff, great location, decor amazing, 1930's art deco ocean liner. Skip 9 months later my 2nd visit and I had been craving home made rice pudding for a week, can't believe it was on the menu, and tasted just like mum used to make
Fantastic old building and the interior is amazing you can see why it gets picked up for movie/tv shoots. The service was amazing throughout the evening, we had cocktails oysters and a set menu, we were surprised with a scallop bisque complimentary and a pate in a choux pastry bun which was beautiful
Staff warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and efficient. Surroundings beautifully retro. Food and drink very enjoyable . Altogether a great experience.
5 star for food but carpets etc needed desperately. The food and drinks deserve a 5 star rating but decor will always let it down. It won't stop me going back though!
Birthday treat with my family. Recommended the seafood risotto
This place is interesting, but I think a little more hyped up than it should be. Definitely has great ambiance and has an outdoor seating area, a bar seating area, a fine dining area as well as a bar downstairs. You can make reservations at all of the locations except the upstairs bar. The food wa
Great lunch!! Oysters followed by beautifully cooked trout, washed done by Gewurtzraminer. Excellent service from Euan.
Great surroundings and equally great food.
Glasgow institution been serving locals and visitors for over 80 years. Wonderful atmosphere friendly staff and great food at reasonable prices.
first visit and it was lovely, definitely come again
The most perfect restaurant experience in Glasgow. A beautiful bar and restaurant, high level of service, perfectly prepared meals. A must when in Glasgow.
Faded jaded dated, just have the set menu and people watch. Make sure you are watchable too, don't be underdressed, will you.
