Just came back from afternoon tea to celebrate my Nan's birthday with my 4 year old girl and I was very impressed! Friendly and accommodating staff who were great with my little girl, I had the gluten free option which was all very nice, best scones I've had and well worth the price. Lots of great bits in the shop and will be back for another visit. Thank you x

I have always had a lovely time here, it’s my little get away where I take friends. It gets me out of our lovely Cambridge for a few hours. Delicious food, delightful gifts. And the staff really friendly. I only once had a poor experience with one occasion. But it was a one off. I would highly recommend a drive out to this place. Truly brilliant. Elveden hall estate was owned by Maharaja daleep Singh the last ruler of panjab kingdom. He was son of the great king shere panjab Maharaja ranjit Singh. Maharaja daleep Singh was only nine years of age when he was crowned king of his kingdom panjab. He was over powered by the British and he was removed from panjab. The Sikhs we're led to believe that he had gone to England for education, far from it. The British government and queen Victoria betrayed the Sikhs and looted panjab. The Maharaja had two sons and three daughters, the authorities got rid of all. So that nobody can claim his kingdom and inheritance. Hence the elveden hall is now privately owned. It is a wonderful estate with beautiful surroundings and it functions beautifully. I like visiting elveden hall because it has a lot of history.
