We were in the area after exploring Dean Village and were planning to have an English breakfast in a place that was unfortunately closed. This actually turned up to be a really lucky event because we found Rokko Rokko Desu just around the corner and decided to give it a try.
The guy who welcomed us has been really friendly and accommodating even if the shop literally just opened when we turned up. The menu outside is slightly different from the one that’s actually on (which on my opinion is better), so I would advise to check it inside as well.
We went for the chicken karaage ramen, salmon tempura and the rokko fries.
The fries are just delicious, the spices and the sauce they use are amazing.
I also loved the ramen, which on cold, windy days is just the best.
If we stayed longer in Edinburgh I would definitely go back!
Nice ambience and nice service.
I ordered a ramen but the portion was a little small for me😅
It was general taste and wasn’t an impressive flavour.
Happened to walk by Rokku Rokku Desu while craving ramen and went in without high expectations. Service was good, nice ambience and we were very pleasantly surprised with the quality of the ”Rokku Rokku ramen” which had a light and delicious broth.
