Amazing views of the Fourth Rail Bridge. First arrived thinking I would maybe not get parked but there is a VERY large car park at the station. I travelled here so that I could cross over the Fourth Rail Bridge. Wait wasn’t too long for a train and the journey over the bridge was a fantastic one. You can get off at North Queensferry and go back over back to Dalmeny. Trip is rather inexpensive so worth the money.
Decent station. There's a shelter incase it's raining but the station isn't manned. There's a disabled toilet hidden around the corner, which can be used with a RADAR key. It isn't really clean though.. 🤔 Again, like a lot of stations along the Fife Coastal route, the station is only wheelchair accessible from one platform, which is platform 1 for Dalmeny.
Although a small station it has a lot going for it. There is a car park which is free all day. Throughout the day there is a manned ticket office with very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The station itself is extremely clean with a small but excellent cafe attached. The signs are clear and the station announcements are frequent and can be understood.
