For anyone who has never been here please go. Cosy atmosphere, friendly service, beautiful art collection and delicious hearty food that will not break the bank (student life). This small cafe is a place that I will be visiting more often. And if you ever go have the Pho it was not only delicious but filling.
Went there again last night, had the catfish, the DIY pork rice paper fresh spring rolls and the beef pho soup. It was glorious. The soup is massive, so use it as a starter only if youre three or more people. The catfish was so tender it melted like butter in the mouth with very delicate flavours, with the strongest flavour being that of some lovely fresh ginger. Because it is so delicate and subtle get it went you want something light and good, not when you want to be whacked with flavour as the chicken drumstick or the pork diy spring rolls(cant remember what its called on the menu, but you essentially get some fillings to put into a rice paper to eat) do. Fabulous as always. Remember to book and byob
This little cafe is a regular lunchtime haunt for me. I often go here with friends and but sometimes on my own too. The food is simple, home cooked and non-fussy. The owner is a lovely little lady who add character to the place. My favourite is the lotus leaf stick rice with chicken. Yum yum!
