What an amazing place! We went for lunch and a look round the antiques. There are three tables for eating in the shop so you're surrounded with the antiques which are absolutely everywhere including hanging off the ceiling, it's a real treasure trove. My jacket potato was gorgeous and fluffy with a fresh home prepared salad and the sandwiches were in fresh teacakes, again with a salad & coleslaw. The lady serving the food was really friendly, as was the owner who was very helpful and chatty with customers. There are two rooms downstairs and another two upstairs absolutely crammed with all sorts. There is also an outdoor area at the back with garden and workshop type items. The toilet is outside and is absolutely spotless. Great shop, so glad we found it and will definitely visit again.
Stopped here on a bike ride for a hot drink and a snack. Very hospitable and welcoming hosts, excellent coffee and tea, toast etc. Very clean toilet out the back with full H & S wipes, sanitisers etc. Plus a fascinating selection of antiques, curios. Very different to your greasy spoon but fairly priced. Would recommend
Locked in Time....was a lovely surprise. A warm welcome and a cuppa not to mention some delicious looking home made cakes await prospective customers.
Lots to explore here ....from fascinating items from bygone eras to work by local artists. well worth a visit!!
