We have visited several times previously for just for drinks and on each occasion we were given a warm welcome. This time we came for tea and chose the spicy chicken skewers. I couldn't decide on chips or rice and the lovely waitress offered to give us half of each. The skewers were delicious and very succulent. I would highly recommend visiting as you are always made welcome and the bar staff are friendly. Lovely choice of gins too
This has got to be the best2course meal in Yorkshire£8.95.good old fashioned pub food in a lovely friendly atmosphere,Christmas music but just background not blasting out,2girls at the bar really friendly . not silly prices on soda drinks orange,lime.. choice of 3 starters soup, pate, garlic mushrooms.mainsroast beef Pork.scampl, gammon egg, fishn chips.i had roast beef carrots mash cabbage, and a Yorkshire pud, big jug gravy all piping red hot.
