We booked at table here for an anniversary as the last time we came Was amazing. This evening was extremely busy but the manager and her team were polite and kind and explanatory throughout a busy service. The food was good and we only had to leave as my autistic daughter had an episode or we would have stayed longer. It’s a lovely pub with great staff and we always have a good time there!

Met my mother for dinner here and it seems to shine compare to other local place to eat. Booked a table and when I arrived was quickly greeted and shown to waiting guests and drinks order taken. Service staff were attentive and friendly but not overbearing. For starters we had whitebait and tempura prawns which were both reasonable sizes and well cooked. Mains I had fish and chips and other main was a special which was very good, not all the normal pub recipes but a nice selection of standards and unique dishes. Only downside was carpark was pretty full, but that's really a good sign! If in the area again would return as had an excellent experience and food was very good.

Lovely food! Gluten free fish and chips were the best I’ve ever had. The staff were so friendly and the kids play area kept our daughter very entertained. Brilliant prices too. Couldn’t recommend more!
