The lunch menu has a good selection of food. The food was nicely done. I had the curry and tom yum and I definitely loved them. It has the view to the park so its definitely a plus point for the restaurant.

We always get a good spicy and authentic thai curry in here. The Masaman curries are particulary flavoursome. Good sticky rice and crackers also plus a superb location with nice ambience. It never seems that busy which is a shame but it means you always get a good seat!

Great place for lunch and dinner with a whole family or friends. Staff were very patient and helpful. Restaurant is child-friendly. Ambience was excellent, so was the food. An amazing place to eat in.

If you can handle the spice, ask for 'authentic spicy Thai flavour' when you order, otherwise you get seasoning that is more European palette friendly by default...

Mai Thai is the most authentic Thai restaurants I have ever been too. I lived in Thailand for about a year, and other members of my family for probably a combined 10 yrs or more and we all love it. Salads are very popular in Thailand, but barely any Thai restaurants in the UK serve them, Mai Thai have 9 on the menu including laab, nam tok (waterfall) and som tam (papaya). They have all the traditional favourites too so if you are a Thai food expert, or a novice, there will be great food for everyone. Be warned though, it is spicy, a British palate will probably want to ask for it not spicy to dial down the heat a little bit, but don't worry, it will still have a kick!

The menu is extremely varied and well priced. The food was prepared quickly and was very tasty, with large portions. The staff were attentive and friendly too - we will definitively be back!

After having no luck with deliveroo (two orders cancelled from two different restaurants - probably due to Friday night being a busy time) we resorted to ordering take away the old-fashioned way - on the phone. We called Mai Thai, ordered, paid by card over the phone. The order was delivered within agreed time-frame and earlier than expected. We ordered yellow thai curry, pad tai and chow mein. All dishes were beautiful! Result: seven happy customers! Oh, and it was £20 cheaper than exactly the same order from Luk Thai at The Cricketers via deliveroo!

We have ordered takeaway from here twice by calling directly. The food both times was excellent, really rich tasty Thai flavours with plenty of good quality meat. They delivered within 45 mins both times on a Saturday and a Friday night and were extremely polite on the phone, making sure to check the order before hanging up. It's our go to Thai takeaway now
