A great bistro style restaurant serving authentic freshly prepared Polish food and drinks. We visited on a Friday night and the owners Darren and Dominika were welcoming, courteous and attentive throughout the night. All three courses were fantastic. We went for the sharing platter as a starter which was a selection of Polish cheeses, hams, sausages, salads and bread. It was almost a meal in itself, very good value and went very well with the red wine on their menu. We both went for the slow cooked pork main course which came with a delicious gravy and mash, the pork melts in your mouth. The chef (Dominika) takes time to interact with visitors and goes from table to table ensuring that everyone is happy. After our desserts we were given complimentary Polish vodka shots (Soplica) one walnut, one blackcurrant and one hazelnut flavour. This was a nice touch and end to our meal. We're looking forward to returning soon and trying other dishes on their menu.
Here you will find delicious fresh home cooked meals. The menu is traditional Polish dishes that are truly delightful & great vegetarian options. We enjoyed every bite of our meals. The hosts were very welcoming and explained the options on the menu for us. The drinks selection is very good with a wide selection of traditional Polish beers and drinks. Would highly recommend. Definitely better that any big chain restaurants.
Having recently been to Poland we were keen to reminisce and try a local Polish restaurant and this didn’t disappoint. Friendly, attentive service in a clean, welcoming setting. We deliberately selected different menu choices so we could try each other’s food and it was all great. I had the turkey and mince rolls in tomato sauce, with rice and my partner had the beef goulash with potato dumplings. A couple of coffees and complimentary vodka topped off a great experience.
