It was brilliant, staff were all so friendly and welcoming. Lovely Geordie chef behind the meat but reminded me of home and was amazing with my kids, the other chef also helped my little girl without being asked.
Staff were really quick to tidy up, handled it getting busy really well. Everything was clean and easy to find. Manager behind the bar was incredibly friendly too and was from near me! Brill place.
We had no issues whatsoever whilst we were there, all staff were so polite. Special mention to the chef serving the carvery, he was extremely polite, smile on his face, making conversation with every customer, asking how our day was going etc. What a lovely young man! He deserves a special mention, he made our day he was lovely, I even said to my daughter when we went to sit down what a lovely young man.
It's a really good place for a roast. Steve, I think, is a great asset to this branch; very friendly and welcoming.
My only complaint is that if you order something off of the menu, such as a dessert, it takes a really long time to come and that's even if the carvery is empty!
Other than that, it's worth a visit.
