Expensive but good food. The fish was pre-cooked rather than being cooked to order which is never the best sign, but on this occasion it did taste fresh. Nicely cooked cod with crisp batter, and the chips were fairly crisp and not greasy. Regular cod, regular chips (they don’t do smalls) and mushy peas cost £12.60 which is the most expensive fish and chips I have ever bought! The same meal costs £2-3 less at all of the other local fish and chip shops I have tried. The portion sizes were pretty good though. The shop only accepts cash. We all know that businesses which are cash only in this day and age generally do so to avoid paying tax and I would normally have no problem with this as it helps to keep the prices down - but that certainly doesn’t seem to be the case here!

Good fish and chips, always a good amount of chips no matter what size you buy. As I normally have Plaice, it's always cooked fresh. Never a bad meal from here. If you order online to collect and pay in store, be careful of the service fee. It's caught us out a couple of times. Although the staff are good about it if there is a problem.

I had visited Harry's Fish Bar recently. My order was a Fish and Chips. The service was quite quick and the quality of the Cod Fish was excellent. It was a very nice filling meal and the fish was quite crispy and tasty. The person who took my ordered my order and served was very friendly and he explained to me the menu so well that I understood what I wanted to have. I will surely recommend this place for all Fish and Chips lovers. Thanks.
