Popped in at lunchtime today 6/8/18. Landlord Gary welcomed us beautifully. He remembered us from The Miners. That's what I want from a pub and a landlord. The pub has been refurbished as has the kitchen, the outside and even the toilets. It's a must try. Gary and his chef are writing the rules of what a good pub should be. BE AWARE the pub has limited inside seating and loads of outside seating so best book to be sure. Its a cracker better try it ! — with Marlene Gregory.

Amazing food. I highly recommended the roar burger. The most juicy Cajun chicken I have tasted. This is the best food around. Gary is brilliant front of house, really friendly and chatty.
