August 2019. Fantastic takeaway chippy only a few minutes drive from the beach. Lovely fish & chips presented in a handy box, useful for carrying. Nice clean modern facility with friendly staff Small amount of car parking outside. Thanks for a lovely lunch!!

Seriously? Seriously!

Good old cod and chips well cooked and piping hot. Crispy batter and large portions. Fish freshly cooked to order and washed down with a cold fizzy drink from the fridge...Heaven!! A treat I cannot afford to indulge in often for the sake of my health but this is where I'd head for anytime I wanted to indulge and I was in the borders.

I've used this Fish & Chip shop for years when nearby. I am not a local, I live in Tyneside some 60+ miles away. It should show the esteem in which my family & I hold this place when we consider it as the perfect end to a day out & purposefully travel out of our way to visit! They also have a wide range of products, which is great. No trip to or from Scotland via the A1 is complete without popping in for the reasonably priced, high quality food. They do a mean cup of tea too.
