First time visiting today and I can't believe we've never been before as we don't live far away. Superb food (I had 3 courses and each was delicious), friendly welcoming staff and great service. Will definitely be returning and would highly recommend.

We called on Tuesday evening for a meal, we were greeted by a lovely friendly member of staff behind the bar, who took us through to our table in the dining room where we ordered sirloin steaks & a bottle of wine, for deserts we chose grape & butterscotch cheesecake.
The food was amazing! as was the service. If you are ever in the Allerthorpe/Pocklington area then this is ‘the pub’ to visit. Highly recommended.
