The BEST vegan fish and chips I've ever had. We got the pea protein vegan fish and chips and some pineapple fritters. The portion sizes were great, chips tasted good but the fish was incredible we couldn't believe how realistic it was. First time trying pineapple fritters and they were nice too. Als
Brilliant food and brilliant prices. The staff were very friendly. If you're ever in York and you fancy fish and chips this is the place to go. The chip butty was fantastic.
Fish and chips is a rare treat for me so I look for quality. The Haddock and Chips with Scraps I got here were excellent 👌. Crispy and light and not too greasy. The serving staff were friendly and we managed to sit outside and relax while eating.
Was rushing about to meet up with some friends and had some time (20 mins) to get some dinner. Stopped in, friendly welcome and answered my query with no fuss checking dairy content of batter. Smiles all round and I sat and ate the best fish and chips I'd had in a while!!! Filled me up, no complaint
If you're seeking the ultimate fish and chip experience in York, look no further than this hidden gem, it's not just one of the best in the city – it might very well be THE best! The fish boasts a succulent, chunky interior encased in a golden brown batter that's nothing short of perfection. And le
Put it this way I'll be driving from Warrington for the fish. The chips are amazing, the gravy is amazing too... the fish... the fish is elite! The fish is crispy, its a chunky fillet and it's full of flavour. Zoe was amazing at serving us even after a few beers really friendly staff and the fish 🤌
Staff mentioned that they could deep dry anything and a guy literally went out, got a mince pie and then deep fried it for me!! Delicious!!!! Great chips. Great service. Thanks so much ❤️
The food was very nice and the staff were friendly. I paid around £6 for the small fish and chips. The portion is big enough for a woman. I'm not vegan but they also have vegan options for the fish.
We went in to try their vegan fish and chips and the guy behind the counter recommended the pea protein, instead of the banana blossom. And it didn’t disappoint, it was lovely! Would recommend any vegans (or none vegans) taking a trip when you visit York!
Great fish and chips for a tenner, so not super cheap but lovely food and a nice place to sit down upstairs.
