Came across this wee spot when searching for breakfast Saturday morning. Great selection delicious pancakes and the fry was spot on. Quirky interior and very clean. Staff very helpful good service despite it being very busy. Worth a visit would liked to have tried the cakes they looked delic
Had a lovely lunch in York at Lucky Days, which was quite expensive, but worth it as food was lovely.
There is quite an extensive menu, with very clearly marked allergens, good for people who are vegan/vegetarian or have an allergy to milk/wheat, etc.
I decided on an open sandwich, which was £13.00 something?, sorry forgotten exact amount, which you get to choose 3 different salads to go with it. I had shredded ham, mashed eggs, and cherry tomatoes, with a cucumber salad, beetroot one, and a tomato one. My sister had the Tuna open sandwich with a larger helping of the tomato salad as she couldn't decide on any any of the others.
The staff are very helpful and friendly.
The atmosphere is very nice.
There are toilets on 2nd and 3rd floors, which let's it down for people who have problems with stairs.
We had a delicious breakfast here. Full English Yorkshire breakfast, Shakshuka, American pancakes, coffee, fresh juice. All were delicious, quickly produced and served. Our waitress was under supervision whilst in training, and it's great to see staff being properly trained. Nothing not to like here. Highly recommended.
