The atmosphere was very lively, classy and great scenery. Staff were quick and efficient service.
This is a fantastic Indian restaurant, the best in York by a clear margin.
The food is very good and the menu is massive, so there is something for everyone. It is also very reasonably priced and service extremely prompt, including for larger parties.
The staff are what makes this place; they are proactive and friendly, including having banter with the customers. You can see why they have so many regular customers.
The only reason I gave it four instead of five stars is because the decor is a bit dated.
Very close to the city center and very kind staff! I've tried the lamb balti which was absolutely stunning! It was really spicy as it should be and the noon bread was amazing. The pilav rice would be better but it was fine. Reasonable prices for fair service.
