first time visit for me - pre going to local Octogon theatre Panto - food was excellent -my son and I had small steaks at £5.70 odd --it didn't break the bank -we didn't wait long (5 in party) we didn't wait long for our food at all and the young staff were very pleasant -the young man who brought our food -came back to ask if everything OK -despite being very busy - we definately recommend this pleasant eatery!

A big thank you to all the team for tonight. I booked for an end of season meal for an U12’s girls football team and their families. (36 people all together). We had a great area reserved to eat and the girls could play outside while waiting for their food and after and a good time was had by all. Food all arrived as ordered and was very good. Highly recommended and great value for money. Thank you.

The food was OK, chicken wasn’t particularly nice and quite slimy and easy to tell the peas are microwaved and very bland. The place is quite dirty and the state of the menus were gross as well as the salt pots and lots of cobwebs around the place (no, not Halloween decorations). Serving staff seem friendly enough but not very attentive and it isn’t nice to be sat eating and have different staff watching your every bite. We did not have desserts so unsure what they are like. We went for dinner.

Popped in off the off chance to get a table for lunch as we didn’t book a table. And Leanne gave us a table. She was really helpful as we asked what deals are on today. Had the chicken sandwich and my partner had the 15oz gammon and it was lovely and the plates came out hot. Would highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

The Bell is our favourite family friendly pub with a relaxed atmosphere. The food is good for the price and is served promptly, and the staff are so caring and accommodating, a special thanks to Jemma for serving us this afternoon. For an affordable and friendly place to eat or drink with family, look no further. The food and drink deals are brilliant for savings, it’s a treat to still be able to eat out while watching your purse. The play area keeps kids occupied for hours and the spacious beer garden and comfy seating inside keep us coming back again and again.

Have been to the bell inn now on numerous occasions, a couple of times have been turned away due to full capacity and having not reserved a table, so I would recommend reserving a table most of the time. I have had breakfast here and the meal was very good though it did take awhile to get served even though it was empty. Main times I have come here were for lunch and dinner. Meals are very good and at a good value. Staff are friendly and always willing to help and also check to make sure everything is okay. In regards to venue I do believe a makeover is now needed as the seating area and tables are starting to look worn and dated. There is outside seating as well as a small play area out back for children. Parking is at the rear. All in all I would recommend a visit.

A firm favourite of our family, and the rest of the club. Perfect place for parents to relax while their kids play, decent grub for the price and very accommodating even when they’re busy. Had a bit of a family emergency today and our lovely server Jemma managed to squeeze us a table on a busy Sunday afternoon! Can’t go wrong with the tasty burgers, pub classics and they do a banging roast on Sundays.

Came in for breakfast and the service was really good. Leanne was really helpful with helping me as I didn’t like hash browns and she said I can swap them for something different. Will definitely recommend. Good valve for money.

Hi folks...if you're after a cracking, I mean real cracking, meal deal in Yeovil, Somerset you must head to the Bell Inn on Preston Road. We had a big family celebration meal there last Saturday (all 20 of us, I think) and the service, the atmosphere and the food was outstanding. I've never seen so many clean, empty plates. Go on...give it a try...you know you want to! 👏👏👏🎊🎉🎊

Absolute gem for Yeovil, first visit and everything was great, friendly staff, clean and tidy inside and out. Ample parking and an outside seating/play area. Portions are huge and very good value, we'll definitely return. Thanks team.

We were in the hungry horse a few day ago, as a last minute lunch idea and served by a lovely lady Jemma. She was super friendly, polite, helpful and gave us a great dining experience. She made sure we had all we needed and it's always nice to be served with a smile, Thank you
