The food was absolutely amazing, I had beef and it melted in my mouth, never had beef so amazing. Staff were so lovely and the place is fantastic. I can not rate this place higher. I have recommended it to so many ppl. Thank you so much x

The Crown and Victoria is a consistently good place to eat.
The food is always fresh and very tasty.
The owner can tell you where pretty much all the food comes from, and quite a lot of it is sourced on the premises.
If you have trout, you're pretty much assured that Mark, the owner caught it.
If you think you're waiting for your food longer than you would like to wait, just be reminded that everything is made fresh...nothing is microwaved. If you were cooking at home, would you expect to have the food on the table in 10 minutes?
If there's nothing you fancy on the menu, or you'd prefer a slight change to your dish, just ask. People here are very obliging, and things are flexible.
The staff are always friendly, and even if you are a regular, like myself, you are always asked if things are alright, and do you need anything else during the meal.
This is not the cheapest place to eat at, but you definitely get what you pay for. Great food, good portions, & great service.

Very very happy, lovely host and hostess the food was absolutely fantastic. The chef is to be applauded. Would give it 6 stars if they were available. I had the Haddock with a black pudding crust. Cooked to perfection and my trio of desserts sublime. Next time we are passing we will be calling in if your out Tintinhul way it is well worth a visit I cannot recommend it highly enough.
