I was thwarted last night as Google decided to update and left me having only given this wonderful place only one star. The pub deserves every bit of five stars. It is warm, friendly and is run properly as a proper village pub. There is always a welcome, and they serve excellent food, down to earth and priced sensibly. I would recommend Cas's food to anybody, you don't come away hungry or poor. It is for me the best pub in the area.
awesome valentines meal last night! one of the best steaks ive had in ages for a fraction of what you'd pay at The Ox / Cowshed. lovely attentive staff and great atmosphere. would recommend to anyone
What a change from a previous 'felt like a mens only pub' bit run down to family run clean, nicely decorated, family friendly pub, with great food and very reasonable prices. We'll be back there.
