Lovely cafe in the town centre, a must visit if ever wandering Bridge Street.
My mother is a regular - practically has honorary shares! Been a few times myself and never had a bad meal. Usually go for the Zapiekanka and never disappoints.
Dessert - you cannot go to a Polish led eatery and be disappointed with dessert - good waffles with no skimping on the trimmings.
Well decorated and laid out and well maintained for a nice relaxed vibe.
Staff are always friendly and helpful too.
Excellent food and decent portions. Even the toasties were just toasted really nice so you got good flavours and the right amount of crispness. The polish sausage was good, not as much flavour as an English sausage but nice with the mustard and chips. They’re coleslaw was nice and sweet. They did seem a bit rushed off their feet so went to the till to order for the table, not sure if they offer table service.
What a hidden gem of a place this is! From the outside you would never guess how lovely it is inside, I walked past several times before nipping in for a cuppa one day.
I get a sense of passion from the place, perhaps it's family run? If it isn't it certainly seems that way. Everything is carefully thought out, the decor, the service, the food.
There's no better place to enjoy a spot of lunch!
