Our first visit. Lovely food, very authentic. Had some really good laughs with the waiter too. Really enjoyed the evening, and will certainly go back again.

I have been to Colombo Kitchen atleast 4-5 times now as me and my family are regular returners. Best Sri Lankan restaurant i have been to, every item is absolutely 10/10! Exactly like traditional home cooked Sri Lankan food. I especially recommend the crab curry - absolutely delicious and one of my favourites.

We celebrated my Sri Lankan friend's birthday at Colombo Kitchen. The food was good and according to my friend it tasted just like back home. The place was nice and clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Prices are cheaper than some other Sri Lankan restaurants but that also means that you shouldn't expect huge portions of food. My only problem was the taste of coke, it was flat and much sweeter than what I'm used to. I don't know if it's because they are using syrups that are different than what other restaurants are using or because they are using coke from a different brand. All in all, we've had a good experience and if it wouldn't take us 2 hours to get there then we would definitely go back more often.

This is a great place to have some traditional Sri Lankan food. I really loved the milk hoppers and traditional Kothu Roti. The customer service was fantastic. We celebrated our mums birthday and the staff were very accommodating.

We were a group of 4 adults and 2 kids that visited for lunch on a Sunday. The place wasn’t that busy at the time. Our group ordered the mutton rolls, fish pattis, hot butter squid, Negombo prawn curry, mutton curry, aubergine moju, chilli paneer, seafood kottu, chicken fried rice, as well as a few hoppers and gothamba rotis. For dessert we tried the watalapan, choc biscuit pudding, the kithul pani as well as some ice cream for the kids. If this sounds like a lot of food, I can confirm that it was! Portion sizes were generous and we did end up packing some of it up to take home. The food itself was quite enjoyable throughout, the flavours were authentic and some of the dishes had a real kick to them! Service was friendly but quite slow and it was difficult to catch the attention of servers. The bill for our huge meal came to a reasonable £230, of which £40 was spent on drinks. A solid option for Sri Lankan cuisine overall, with a comprehensive menu that includes all the favourites (our group is of Sri Lankan origin btw). Definitely worth a visit if you live nearby.

Food is excellent. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Atmosphere is relaxed. Very good choice of typical Sri Lankan food. Cooked by the very knowledgeable chef, Sylvia. (Hope I got her name) The spend per person is around £40. Not including drinks. Booking in advance recommended. Will visit again.

Great spot for a late lunch or dinner. We got the lychee rose, and chilli ginger mojito to drink - both were amazing and so unique in their flavours. The paneer tacos to start were so delicious, and the chicken lamprais and briyani held up to their great reviews. Very filling but perfect portion sizes, the only thing we weren't a fan of was the boiled then fried egg. The bill came to about £75 which was steeper than we had anticipated, also - the optional gratuity was automatically included in the overall price which was misleading, but besides that everything was great. We'd definitely be back to visit and try more off the menu.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Colombo Kitchen with my family and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped in, the ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting. We were greeted by the friendly staff who made us feel right at home. The food was simply amazing! Every dish we ordered was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. We started with the mutton kothu, mutton curry, fresh crab rice, prawn curry, fried calamari each dish was unique and packed with a variety of spices that tantalized our taste The staff was brilliant and provided exceptional service throughout our meal. They were attentive, knowledgeable, and always had a smile on their faces. We truly felt like we were being taken care of. Overall, I highly recommend Colombo Kitchen to anyone looking for a truly authentic dining experience. The food, staff, and ambiance all exceeded our expectations and we can't wait to visit again!

If you want to taste the best and authentic Sri Lankan food in London you must visit Colombo Kitchen. You would never feel that you’re away from your mom’s Sri Lankan food if you have ever tasted from Colombo Kitchen. I have had the chance to taste all the foods from this beautiful restaurant. From all these my favorite items are hoppers and lamprais. But you wouldn’t disappoint any of the food items from Colombo Kitchen. From rice, lentils, cashew, aubergine moju, jackfruit to king prawns, crabs, chicken, mutton, pork or even kottu! The best thing is you can adjust the spicy level according to your tastebuds . And their signature cocktails were superb and why not the desserts. Oreo hoppers , jagary hoppers, watalappam, chocolate biscuit pudding and even the fresh fruit salad are amazing!!! Also the staff is very friendly and professional and they even help you to findthe best meal! They take time to explain you about the meal! Don’t wait! I would absolutely 100% recommend this place and blame me if you feel disappointed. Cuz you will NEVER !

So happy we spotted this restaurant with the best food in London. Food from Sri Lanka that is truly authentic is flavorful, well-presented, and pungent. We dined devilled prawns, mutton rolls, fish and egg cutlets, chicken curry, dhall, seafood fried rice, mutton rolls, and the greatest cocktails made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. will undoubtedly return soon.
