Absolutely amazing pub, possibly my favourite pub ever. We came here last year when on holiday and have returned again for lunch today. Incredibly dog friendly. Staff are lovely and the food is incredible. So cosy with a fire going! We’ve already booked again for dinner tomorrow night.

1st time here for lunch and it was fantastic. The service was friendly and polite. Without fault. The little 'cabins' in the beer garden are a great addition and without doubt will make you smile I had the homemade steak and bacon pie and it was and is to die for. Being from The North we like our gravy and the gravy served did not disappoint Big chips and mushy peas to compliment. I will be back.

So lovely - food, staff, service and atmosphere . 😊 Proper country pub. I had the BBQ pulled pork and my family all had chicken korma. Very flavourful and good portions. They also easily catered to our dietary requests. I’m stuffed and regret that I didn’t leave room for dessert. Hmm… Maybe I’ll stay a bit longer to let my food go down… have a snooze by the fire.
