Absolutely superb. Had a fantastic lunch with friends. Lovely yet simple setting and very friendly. The food was truly exceptional and a nice wine list. Great value for money too. Can highly recommend. The monk fish was the best I’ve ever had.

We eventually managed to get a table! A very impressive well-cooked lunch from their set lunch menu. Exceptional food that was seasoned precisely - mushroom & tarragon soup, large sea bass fillet and individual apple crumble tart filled me nicely. A very good choice of wine. We’ve now enjoyed three excellent meals at Bistro@47a. The restaurant only has seven tables and is run by a lovely couple with the husband cooking in the tiny kitchen and his wife looking after service. The food is not only exquisite but very well-priced, and there’s always plenty to choose from on the menu. I enjoyed the bouillabaisse on our most recent visit, which was probably the best dish I’ve had at the restaurant to date. We were glad to hear it’s renewed its lease for another year and look forward to another visit soon.
