Yummy!. Not sure what chippie the other reviewers attended, or if Deep Blue have just stepped up their game, but this is a lovely fish and chip shop. Every time I've eaten there (at least 5 times now) the fish has been fresh, the batter light, the portions big (I've never finished their smallest portion of chips) and the chaps behind the counter incredibly jovial and pleasant.
I collected an order which was (easily) placed and paid for online. The staff member who greeted us was friendly and cheerful. Dawn then completed our order quickly to take away. The food was hot when we got home. Fish tasted great.
Actually I am not fans of fish and ship but here I can confirm is fresh and beautiful flavor. Love it.
But sometime you need to wait a little bit longer when staff have only 2 people. I take time to wait about 20 minutes however worth it!!
