The Oddfellows Arms is a traditional village pub. That is a wide choice of beers, lager, and cider, including four hand-pulled cask conditioned real ales. The cask ales I sampled were in excellent condition. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had a look at the food menu, and it looked very good, and the meals I saw people having were very tempting. I think I will be back to try the food. The pub has its own car park, a beer garden, and the pub is dog friendly.
We are staying locally as a getaway and this is the local pub.
We came in to have a look and a drink and were very impressed.
We were warmly welcomed by a gentleman behind the bar and quickly served with drinks and given local information I.e. post office location, shops etc.
We sat right next round an open fire place that was well kept throughout our visit.
The selection of ales is great and the prices are reasonable.
We are returning tomorrow for more food, drinks and a great warm pub.
We’ve just been for our first visit today for Sunday Lunch. The food was fabulous. Beef, Pork and vegetables were cooked perfectly and fabulous huge Yorkshire puddings. Service was first class, with a smile from the ladies. Definitely worth a visit and we’ll be back. X
