We booked the private room for afternoon tea for 18 people for our Mams 80th birthday.
Couldn't recommend highly enough!
We had sandwiches, scones, cakes, corned beef pie, quiche and chips...all homemade & delicious!
The staff went more than an extra mile & the birthday girl thoroughly enjoyed her celebrations.

Booked Sunday lunch in October and couldnt have een better. Two child portions for my parents were a good size and extremely good value at under £4. The food and plates were hot and it was certainly freshly cooked and nicely presented.The service was excellent too. No trouble for separate gravy each either. I will certaily be returning. Only one comment for improvement. The cutlery isn't great for cutting through meat and it's a bit short so sticks into your hand. 9/10
