I noticed that someone (one lonely sad person) gave the Bank House One star.
I wish there was a special..... Diamond star award.... for this little gem of a place...
I'm going back again today for my aprés art class coffee...and a little bit of shopping temptation in the gift shop.

This is a superb place to sit and eat or drink. It started out as an arts and craft shop and added the cafe soon after. It is always buzzing with life. Shoppers, crafts enthusiasts, hungry or thirsty punters or just those who want a cuppa while they watch the world will find a welcome here. Never yet had any cause to be disappointed with the food or drink. Child and disability friendly. Go and enjoy.

Went to lunch with a friend. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. We both ordered the soup served with multi grain bread (we discovered was locally sourced). It was just wonderful and very tasty. We were spoilt for choice when it came to desserts. I recommend the apple sponge. We enjoyed a browse through the shop and bought a few vintage type Christmas ornaments we found amongst beautifully handmade gifts. The crafted wooden ornaments were rustic and very reasonable too. There was a fabulous display of baby and toddler clothes gifts. If you are in the area - check it out! You will not be disappointed.
