Absolutely brilliant venue! Amazing service from the bartenders and floor staff and super friendly. Pizza was delicious. I really do recommend this place 100%

Since being renovated a few years back this pub has been a regular on our list of places to visit.
The interior is bright, clean and comfortable. The bar is typical Holt pub, but it has a good range of their drinks available. Prices are very reasonable, one the cheaper places to drink in the area.
The menu is varied and pizzas are made fresh to order. They're pretty decent, and topping choices are not your usual selection.
Beer is usually good quality, staff are always extremely friendly and the locals seem content to have a beer and not cause any drama.
Dogs are welcome in the beer garden or the back room.
Only negative for me personally is the TVs are usually playing sport, and when the soccer is on it's best to avoid unless you want to stand and shout at a TV.

Not been here for years what a fantastic transformation nice open spaces plenty of inside and outside seating lovely staff and a good food menu will be coming back soon

Lovely pub, polite staff, great decor after refurb, staff cleaning whilst not busy to keep standards up, food looked great. Only downside football was on and was a bit loud and shouty when goal scored, otherwise great and will return.
Update 19/9 exactly same as above, pleasure to go in there. Queens funeral been played quietly in the background on tv's to allow respect to be paid.
Update 30/12/22 same polite staff and great pub.
Update 5/6/23 went to take up offer of pizza and 2 drinks £12.95 all day every day to be told no pizzas on, this is the second time now so please update website and advertising to match. Are J Holt aware!

Met with a group of friends on a Friday evening (May12th) pizzas and flatbreads were all gorgeous and very reasonably priced. Lovely staff. Excellent singer on too!

I'm 62 yrs of age and been in many venues but pub is the cleanest one I have ever been in. The landlady is very friendly and the customers are too. Will definitely be going in here again

Went there a few weeks back the watch the world cup. Since the refurbishment the pub was very well presented. A group of us enjoyed using one of the large TV screens installed...the pizza was very, very good
