Came here a few weeks ago for some cocktails and they were delicious so I was really excited to come back to try the food.
We came for a meal here tonight and they did not disappoint. There is a lovely atmosphere here, the place has been decorated beautifully and just feels like a nice place to be. They're also dog friendly which is great for us and booking is quick and easy to do through their website or by giving them a call.
The cocktails are delicious. They offer 2 for 1 on cocktails every day until 7pm so we made the most of this offer and the Mojito's were some of the best I've ever tried!
The food was delicious. It came out quickly, looked lovely and tasted fantastic. We started with the sharing camembert which was lovely, you could really taste the garlic, a great start. I had the mushrooms for my main which were very tasty and my husband had the lamb Parmentier (I'll be having that next time, it was fantastic!) We finished with the Eton mess on the recommendation of our waitress - probably my favourite course of the night, I rarely have non-chocolate desserts but I'm glad I did this time as it was so sweet & refreshing, it was really lovely, my only disappointment was that I was too full to finish it!
The service was great. All of the servers were very attentive and I really appreciated them going round and checking if anyone wanted more cocktails before happy hour ended.
Thank you so much for a wonderful night out, highly recommended!!!
We came for my birthday and were presented with 2 glasses of complementary fizz, which was a very lovely touch.
We started with the deli sharer board for starter, and it was amazing - if you had been asking me to criticise I would have said that the oil/balsamic ratio was off as there wasn't enough balsamic. In particular, the mozzarella was the stuff of dreams!
We should have stopped there... I had the buttermilk chicken burger but the chicken was in the fryer too long or on too high temp. The chicken itself was nice, but the coating was very dark and bitter. My husband had the bouillabaisse which smelled delicious and had a generous amount of fish, but so many broken pieces of mussel shell and two closed mussels made it a faff to eat.
We had the devil's apple cocktail which was delicious, and the service was second to none, but a little work to do on the food offering.
All in all, a lovely evening meal out.
Amazing breakfast, very chilled but quick service. Clean, friendly and trendy! We come here every year on our anniversary of togetherness, no judgement and feels very safe and comfortable for LGBT peeps
