Spot on ! ... over the years we have tried many of the chippys in Whitby.. however.. we now only use Russell's as default.. they are very proud of their shop and constantly cleaning as customers leave... there are no others to touch them in our opinion.. See you next year Russell's... Dave and Jill 😊

BEST CURRY SAUCE EVER!!! We honestly really enjoyed the experience of eating from Russell's. Glad we chose this place for our fish and chips at Whitby. Really friendly staff, all-round enjoyable experience. My boyfriend said the fish is really good. They even let you put your own salt and vinegar on.

This is by far the best fish and chips shop in Whitby and doesn't cost a fortune either. We came to. Whitby for a week and ate here every day. A Guinness and chippy holiday which was amazing. Would definitely recommend to eat here. Staff were great to, extremely friendly
