We travel from Wakefield to the Fox at least 12 times a year. It's an 80 mile round trip. I enjoy the sam smiths dark ales, you could definitely book your self a gang over with 20 quid. The staff are great and down to earth. We have been coming to this pub for 25 years. It could be a really great character pub with someone that could provide a snack when required.

The Fox and Hounds has been at the heart of the community for over 40 years. Mick and Claire have only been in occupation for about three months but are following tradition providing a warm and cheery welcome and, being Yorkshire, "a bit o' Banter". Oh and a good drop o' ale at Yorkshire prices. Keep up the good work guys the first three months have been great!

Nice pub, cheap ale, warm welcome and good company, Mick and Claire are great hosts with entertainment coming from Barney.
