Such a lovely, cosy and friendly place. I made many friends here and it's always a pleasure to come back. Ken is the loveliest host and the food is amazing. ❤️

Definitely worth checking out if you like board games, coffees, nibbles and / or cocktails! Delicious hot and alcoholic drinks and a vast board game selection which kept us entertained for hours. Great vibe; really nice staff, the owners are very hands on and welcoming. Also a lovely selection of sandwiches and sweet treats including some amazing vegan options. We will definitely be back to explore more games and try more cocktails - worth multiple visits! This is a good venue for both day and evening fun.

Fabulous Cafe with a super friendly and welcoming atmosphere - made so by the attentive and passionate staff! We visited on their opening weekend in April 2022 and couldn't have been more impressed! All the food we tried was delicious, and they offer a great range of vegan options. The cocktail menu also offers a fab selection of classics, under the guise of thoughtfully selected D&D class names - a geeky twist that we loved! Our group tried a selection and all were on point, and served with great attention to detail. All vegan as well - including the Gin Fizz, very moreish! The Espresso Martini was a particular favourite, made with seriously fresh coffee and can be tailored in various ways to your liking. Huge games selection, suited to a range of ages and play times - fun for everyone! We tried out Sagrada - a beautifully designed dice-drafting game, which we've had our eye on for a while, and now definitely want to pick up our own copy! Also couldn't resist joining in for a couple of games of Unstable Unicorns, an established favourite - hilarious fun and highly recommended! Good solid, spacious tables - selected with gaming in mind, I'm sure. I only wish we lived closer, we'd undoubtedly become regulars! Looking forward to visiting again when we're next in lovely Weston though, and would highly recommend to others!

Such a wonderful little café with the most amazing staff! Only been there for a coffee so far (nice, plant milks and decaf available) but it's actually a board games café! More intimate than the ones you may be used to from bigger cities but that's what makes this place so special! Become a regular (get enough coffee stamps) and you use the table for free rather than paying for it! And with an amazingly inclusive online community, regulars can also vote on what new games come into the shop. A really amazing find in Weston; also open evenings with some amazing sounding dungeons and dragons based cocktails ;)

A gem of a place. Sanctuary has a wonderfully diverse selection of games, and if you're not sure what to choose there's always someone on hand to help. The menu includes vegan and gluten-free options, and as a vegan I'm delighted with it. The chili in particular is delicious. Try the cocktails too; the paladin-themed Gin Fizz comes with homegrown rosemary! I can't recommend Sanctuary enough. I meet there regularly with friends and it's always a fantastic experience.

Our first visit to Sanctuary. The owners are really friendly, the service was great. Good selection of gluten free and vegan options and choice of dairy free "milks". I had the Carribbean dhal with rice which was lightly spiced and delicious. Fantastic selection of games to play. Will definitely be back

Lovely new cafe, delicious cakes and a good choice of games. What we liked was that the tables are a good size for playing on and most importantly the owners were really friendly and welcoming. We will be back!
