A lovely Valentine's day meal. We were well looked after yet again. Been here many times despite it not being on our doorstep. Worth travelling a few extra miles in our opinion. This time was Valentine's menu.... Tanya dealt with my request of a few things that were not on the menu. Food and experience was 5 star again. Many thanks to Tanya who is the manager and also thanks to the chef and rest of the staff. Brilliant. We also got a Valentine's cracker and a lovely big red rose when we left. Price was very reasonable and great value for what we ate. Everything was home cooked and faultless. We've also had lunch here a few times and a few Saturday nights here. Brilliant again. No riff raff lol and therefore no trouble. Great crowds of ppl and never waited more than 2 mins for drinks even when busy times. Coming back again next month... cant wait. Thanks Tanya. See you soon.

Excellent Fish & Chips this lunchtime. Not cheap, but worth it. So fresh and a generous portion of peas which is rare in pub food.

We visited the Wheatsheaf for a late Sunday lunch and were not disappointed. We were made to feel so welcome when we arrived. Good choice of food and all fresh ingredients. We were disappointed we could not stay to listen to the evening live music. We will definitely return for more meals in such a friendly environment. Thank you to all the staff and particularly the chef.
