Excellent countryside pub which is great for families. Came on the weekend for some lunch and was very surprised with how good it was. Luckily we're fairly local so will be returning for more.
The pub itself is divided into two sections, the main pub and a newer building at the back, including outdoor seats, so you'll likely get a seat except on the busiest of days.
There is also a decent sized play area for children, and parking onsite.
The food was excellent, had the dirty fries and a gypsy tart. It's gotta be some of the best dirty fries I've had, and their gypsy tart was so moorish I wanted a couple more just to myself!
Nice atmosphere with interesting pub signs and even some historical artifacts from the 15th century tucked away in a corner.
This place is fantastic, easy and plenty of parking. Lots of tables inside outside, great design like wow.
Food comes quickly and tastes just amazing, ordered fish and chips fresh and crunchy. Nachos perfect could be more spicy. Next time will try rest of the menu 😋😋😋
Absolutely fantastic place!
Can't believe I've never been before!
Great food, great staff and lovely surroundings!
Bought my Mum for a Sunday roast, for her Birthday and we had The Crypt table! It was so unique and the whole building has lots of history, which I love!
Staff were really good and the food was excellent! Best Sunday roast I've had out in a long time! Will definitely return and recommend to friends too!
