What an amazing place! Decor is amazing and the food is incredible. Atmosphere was lacking because we went about 2pm in the afternoon, that's all. I would go here ALL the time if I could but we drove 50 minutes to go and it's totally worth it! My little boy had the best birthday meal, thanks guys! X

First visit to TGH after seeing a good steady level of reviews, and I have to say it was pretty good at the hood. However, there are some things that bugged me about the general appearance of the restaurant.
The food is good value, fresh and there plenty of it. We ordered a couple of burgers, house slaw, fries and a mac n cheese. The burger was tasty, loaded with toppings, but the bun turned into a soggy mess after two bites. The slaw was fresh and very tasty. The mac n cheese was massive, but need a more cheesey'ness to make it amazing. The fries were a let down, soggy and over seasoned, I mean so salty we couldn't eat them. All the food and two beers for Β£45 π.
On the restaurant itself, considering it only been open twelve months or so it's looking tiered and shabby, or maybe it's just the look? Theres clearly an issue with the electrics, as we had to move table to allow the chef to reset the circuit board after the power went off. The place needs a good clean too, as there was old food in the pits on the table (see photos). There's two large display fridges in the restaurant too with nothing in them, and this just looks odd.
On the whole the food was good, but the restaurant looks like no one has paid any attention to cleaning or presentation for sometime. Clean up the look, and 5 stars.
We went for a meal on valentines night the food was absolutely amazing the portions are massive π pink burger buns were cool....both really really enjoyed it atmosphere was great music was on point and the service could not fault to be honest he was that polite and nice he deserved more than 5 stars βοΈ 100% recommended defo worth a try we loved it here. We will be back to try the normal menu thanks for a brilliant night π
