First time visit to Cita! Food, service and decor were all great. Delicious tapas or main meals, great choice of cocktails and all very reasonably priced. Portions were good. The service from the young lady was excellent, very professional. Can’t believe i have not been before this but already planning my next visit.

Superb eatery. Food was all perfectly prepared - the prices were extremely good value considering the quality of ingredients and portion size. We ordered 3 tapas and 3 starters between us and had to ask for a takeaway tub to take what we couldbt finish (and we were very hungry on arrival!) We were both surprised by how full we got and think it was to do with the high quality of the ingredients and meat especially. Get the halloumi fries!! When we walked in a couple were leaving with a takeaway tub themselves and said "hope you're hungry, it's amazing" so we arent the only ones impressed. The decor and ambience is wonderful. Cosy and clean, really comfortbale seats are always appreciated. Service was exceptional: hosted by a warm and energetic young man and a young waitress: both were helpful attentive and friendly, kind enough to take the time to talk to us. Oh, and the desserts were droolworthy... we had toffee popcorn sundae and brownie sundae, both were delicious. Again, generous portions, top quality ingredients and clearly prepared with pride. Thanks and highest compliments to the chef. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. 4 minute drive from the Seamill Hydro hotel, open late and on Sundays. Exceptional value for the portions, quality of ingredients, service and ambience. Thank-you for a lovely meal.

From the moment I entered, the decor captivated me with its charming blend of modern and rustic elements, creating a cozy yet sophisticated ambiance. The food quality at Cita Tapas Bar is exceptional. Each dish our group sampled was a delight, showcasing the kitchen’s skillful execution and attention to detail. The freshness of the ingredients and the creative combinations truly set the restaurant apart. Cleanliness is of paramount importance to me, and Cita Tapas Bar did not disappoint. The entire establishment was spotless, reflecting their commitment to maintaining a hygienic and inviting environment. The service at Cita Tapas Bar can only be described as first-class. The waiter - David - was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and well-cared for. Onto the highlight - the first-class food - each dish was a masterpiece that showcased the chefs’ creativity and expertise. In conclusion, my experience at Cita Tapas Bar in West Kilbride was nothing short of exceptional. The inviting decor, top-notch food quality, impeccable cleanliness, attentive service, and unforgettable dishes all contribute to making it a first-class dining destination that I wholeheartedly recommend.

First time dining at Cita. Really impressed by the tapas menu and in a lovely setting (the old West Kilbride railway building). Moderately busy on a Friday night. Service was excellent by waiting staff (thank you!) Food was piping hot and very tasty. The choice was a tad limited on the night and the mussels were a bit over cooked, but that's really nit picking. Would definitely go back and recommend to others to try.

We came here today when visiting family and the food was absolutely delicious. I would recommend the chicken parm, and the vegetable tempura. The decor is stunning inside and it has a nice atmosphere. The chef Jamie is friendly & talented. You can tell that he had a lot of passion for what he does. They even cooked food and puréed it for the baby we had with us, which was just a lovely thing to do. The waitress who served us was so friendly and attentive, she was honestly just a wee ray of sunshine. I'd recommend anyone visiting West Kilbride to also visit City Tapas, it's an ideal location right at the station.

Family visit to this lovely restaurant. Lucky enough to have this converted railway station now tapas restaurant on our doorstep. We went for Sunday dinner and were not disappointed. Food was excellent, well prepared and served as it was ready. Portion sizes were good considering it is a tapas restaurant. Staff were excellent and service in point from the welcome to the bill. Full marks Cita.
