Ajwa Indian Restaurant

Absolutely blown away by the food as well as the service! We will definitely be returning every time we have our curry cravings. Each dish is prepared as you order and the kitchen is willing to adjust the heat level to your liking. They don't sell alcohol. However, they are happy for you to come in with your own if you'd like a bottle of wine with your meal 😋 Utensils, plates, glasses, tables etc are so clean I wouldn't be surprised if they polish them! I dont have any doubt that their kitchen will be just as clean. I could not suggest any changes or improvements. This is definitely my new favourite restuarant. Well done Ajwa Team! You can be proud.

We have eaten here many times and had several takeaways. The food is the absolute best. Cooked fresh to order and you pick a dish and ask for the chill heat to be increased or lowered. So I ordered prawn Dansak and have the chilli heat lowered. Perfect! You really won’t be able to beat this Indian restaurant for quality. The staff are friendly and approachable. It does get busy at the weekend so be prepared to wait slightly longer for your food. But trust me, it’s worth the wait. And it’s bring your own alcohol. So a win win !

We visited Ajwa as part of a large group. The staff were absolutely first class, polite, cheerful, knowledgeable about their dishes, and really efficient. The food was delicious and arrived in a very timely manner. Don't let the outside of the restaurant put you off or you'll miss out on a really fabulous meal with great service. Oh and obviously don't forget to take your own drinks because they don't serve any other than water I believe. There's no corkage charge either so the overall cost is kept down. I really wish more restaurants did this.

Just came back from our Sunday buffet lunch. OMG service was great both Raz and our waiter whom I didn’t get his name but looked totally like ‘John Legend’!!! Were so attentive and engaged in plenty of conversations with us whist doing their job. The food was excellent as always and plentiful. The restaurant itself is immaculately clean and light. The music subtle and enjoyable . WE WILL BE BACK , MANY THANKS. Debbie and Ian ( Jago).

Superb food, the best curries in Somerset. The service was excellent, the decor is simple and fresh. We was a group of 13 and every single one of us commented on the amazing food. I had: Chicken Bhuna and Peshwari naan. Parking is free at the bus station after 6pm if I remember correctly. Thank you and see you again soon insha'Allah.
