Great vegan cafe. Sunday lunches are huge and there are great options for everyone. Good service as well and lovely garden to sit in when the weather is nice (and the garden is dog friendly). If you are in the area you should stop in.
Found Plantside whilst travelling from Lancashire to Cornwall and called for lunch. What a fabulous place right on the high street but with a beautiful walled garden to the rear. We ordered a aubergine parmigiana and a portobello mushroom brunch plate with two teas and oat milk. The menu is extensive so something for everyone.
The food was delicious and it was so tranquil sitting in the garden in the sunshine. I had a chat with owner Anna and expressed how much we enjoyed our visit. Definitely a place to visit if you want great food in a peaceful setting.
Came here with friends on a recent visit. Enjoyed the pie, bubble and squeak, and mushy peas with gravy. On a cold and wet day, it was just what we needed! The other brunch options also sounded tasty and there were quite a few vegan cakes (and a cheesecake) to choose from. If I wasn’t so full, I’d have tried the vegan cheesecake, as it looked really good. I would visit again!
