Stayed here quite a few times now. Lovely location, easy to find and lots of space. Car parking not a problem. Check-in always seems to take a while but not a big problem. Rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. Quite a lot of noise from other rooms and guests arriving or leaving early. Sound proofing could be improved. Dinner was busy but we were eventually served and looked after. We ordered drinks at some point during our meal and it took a while for them to arrive. Breakfast was a bit of a let down to be honest. Not an awful lot of continental selection. Very few cereal options and only a few different fruits to chose from. Cooked breakfast looked good.

Really enjoyed our stay. We were at a wedding which was hosted here. Just a couple of things could be improved upon: Bar staff could have been more attentive to clearing tables. I had to ask them twice to clear our table on 2 different occasions. There were a few of us there so there were a lot of glasses, cups & plates. Our shower had a small leak also. None of these issues would stop up returning as our stay was very good overall.

Fabulous hotel. Food was great and staff all very friendly and helpful. Skies clear of light pollution make for a beautiful view of the stars at night and a walk around the lake before breakfast was bliss. Rooms were nice. Pool is small and ok for a dip, but not really suitable for swimming lengths and a little tatty. Prices good and a nice bar area for evening drinks. Grounds are stunning and certainly worth taking a walk around.
