Cafe style dining with very tasty Tamil and Indian food. Service was slightly slow however they did have a large group in (around 15 guys) before us.
Very friendly staff and we were lucky enough that the large group of Tamil guys were there for a birthday, the musical instruments came out and we had live singing for the meal.
Great place to eat
Good food nice place for small members get together
Myself and friends meet up frequently to enjoy some time and food
Mixed review. Best dosa in Watford by far. No confusion or hassle like other dosa houses in Watford. Eaten in here before and it's cosy with friendly staff. The owner is a real gentleman.
This is my second time ordering food from the Ganesha restaurant.
I decided to go with the thali at £10.95 per head it's a bargain.
The food was tasty but way too spicy for my wife. I like my curry on the spicy side.
The portion sizes were good but too much rice for two people. They could easily substitute with another dish. The sweet vermicelli was lush, but needed more of it. The vaida was excellent too. Probably wouldn't order the thali again unless I was on my own.
Like I said, I highly recommend their dosa, noodles, matar paneer, and iddly as have ordered them before and they were superb. Just be warned. If you chose spicy, you're going to get really spicy! Overall I like Ganesha restaurant and we used to eat in their many years ago. Lovely people that run the place.
