Went for the carvery for Sunday Lunch with the family. I had asked for a round table and was given my request. Waitress appeared immediately and took our orders. Stood in a long queue for the food (very popular place!) but this was moving quickly all the time. Food was piping hot and they were not shy with the meat portions. Overall, excellent lunch.
When we arrived we were quickly given a table for 4 even though we hadn't booked. Laura A served us at our table and was absolutely wonderful! She was very quick to serve us and regularly checked up on how we were. It was very busy but I saw that Laura served all her tables so efficiently that no one seemed to have to wait for her, she also was chatty and friendly to all.
We are on holiday from NZ but if I ever had the chance I would definitely recommend this place.
It's a carvery, that's the simple bit, don't go looking for a huge menu, there isn't one. But what it does, it does very very well, excellent meats and vegetarian options, the veg is great and gravy is almost good enough to put in aug and drink.
There is no atmosphere so bring your own, at what it does Toby can't be beat
