Stayed here on Saturday 5 August. After a very long drive from "Down South" was warmly welcomed by James and shown to room. Bedroom (1) is lovely, clean and tidy with a massive ensuite. Tea and coffee making facilities provided as are hand and bath towels. Excellent home cooked evening meal cooked by Janet and again a superb breakfast on Sunday morning. Would thoroughly recommend this lovely friendly pub and would have no hesitation in staying here again if I come "Up North" again.

Excellent place to stay, we found this gem by a happy accident last night. Friendly welcome, superb home cooked food followed by a lovely clean and comfortable bed then to top it all off this morning a fantastic breakfast !!!!!!!!!! Nothing was too much trouble, we liked it so much we rebooked for our return journey this Friday. Highly recommended.
