I’ve being coming to the Chon Chola for longer than I care to remember (possibly from as early as 1986). This place serves up a great Indian meal and is highly recommended. The food is of a consistently good quality and well priced.

I've travelled around the world there is places spent just under 6-months in India. As my life of taste a lot of food and I look for quality in a food not volume not priced it's all about quality to start with. Tonight of ordered from this particular place through JUST EAT I've never ordered from them before and I felt compelled to give a review on the quality of overall experience I had add. When I looked at the menu was quite excited to be fair. My go-to dish testing Indian restaurant these days is a lamb dhansak. Lamb dhansak can go wrong a lot of ways in my book 2mashi or the lentils can be too hard the lamb could be tough or it could be undercooked and the wrong cut and too greasy and undercooked piece of shoulder isn't a great thing. I saw on the menu they had niramish I was sold for ordering from this place. It's a great side dish if prepared right. The food was ( is- I'm still eating but had to write my thoughts) amazing. The lamb is lean (or well renderd) and tender the Ballance of hot, sweet and sour is perfect for any pallet. A dhansak can be a step up in power for some people but I think they got this spot on. It's full but not overpowering with what tasted like a homemade sauce, and a great aroma. Food hot Rice perfect and fluffy with onion and egg Kiamish possible that it was one of the best i have eaten. It was piping hot, didn't have a layer of ghee that would fule an engine and the veg was perfectly aldente. Cauliflower. Still had a crunch and the beans were not too hard. Im gonna finish dinner without a phone in my hand. Thank you for reading. This was a genuinely brilliant meal. Best takeaway I have had for a LONG LONG time.
