Absolutely cannot recommend Vandal enough.
This weekend was my their visit since moving to Cheshire from London.
I’ve been fortunate enough to dine at restaurants all over the world (inc London, Paris, New York, Abu Dhabi, LA, and more), and I genuinely believe you will be hard pressed to find many a restaurant as consistent for top quality food, drinks, service, ambience and enjoyment.
All of the dishes here are created with Will attention to detail. It’s startlingly obvious just how good the ingredients are in all the dishes, and this also transfers over to the cocktail menu, where again, the best liquors are used, and special ingredients really help Vandal stand out.
You’re spoilt for choice in terms of where to dine; you can eat out front, on a beautiful square, you can eat in the restaurant, you can eat at a kitchen table (and watch the friendly chefs cook your dinner in front of you), or you can eat on the brand new roof terrace.
All of the staff are absolutely wonderful, the owners make it their mission to make everyone feel welcome and valued.
Advice; try the black bomber croquettes, the broccoli (seriously!), and the belly pork. The steaks are all incredible, and the new addition of lobster tail will blow you away.
Cooking up your own s’mores is also a delight.
Cocktails, again, you can’t go wrong, but try the Bloody Mary, the honey margarita, or their exceptional espresso martini (though, all of the cocktails are top level)
This weekend was my third visit to Vandal, I genuinely can’t find anywhere else close!
We visited for breakfast, the food and service was amazing and we were made to feel very welcome and would definitely recommend. We have also been back for the evening menu which was just as good . Highly recommend A+

I had the double cheeseburger with beef short rib appetiter.
The short rib was delicious. Just a bit spare for the price though.
A simple burger but fantastic flavour in the patties and I loved every bite!
Chips were great too but the coleslaw was disappointing. It was just dry shredded salad with no mayo at all. It was the least important part of the meal though to be fair.
My Dad thoroughly enjoyed his pork tomahawk steak.
The staff were all a pleasure. Smiley and chatty.
