"Local Chinese done Right" That’s the mantra for Chef Andy’s and Julie's Gastronomic Chinese, Warrington. It’s been a while since I last visited Warrington and I wanted to treat the family to a takeaway. I did a quick search online and there was no doubt that friends and family enjoy the food from this little diamond of a takeaway. I chose to do a walk-in and not take advantage of the delivery service, I noticed that there is no dedicated parking, however, there is enough street parking. Luckily doing a walk-in was a great decision for many reasons the service is impeccable, both friendly and professional. Whilst waiting for a large order I was able to sit back and admire how they handled other customers and how the chef’s prepared and cooked the food. The smells coming through the kitchen were incredible, enough to make my mouth water. After getting the food back home the family dug in, smiles all around from all ages. I especially liked the 16” box meal, the food was crisp, seasoned well and packed full of flavour. I can highly recommend the salt and pepper chips and if you are feeling a little more adventuress maybe try the salt and pepper squid. Although unable to pay by card this was not a problem as the cash machine was only around the corner. Ordered the 16" feast chinese pizza box - it's a beast! Everything was lovely but the salt & pepper chips were the highlight for me, I see what all of the fuss is about! I decided to collect as delivery had a bit of a wait but now I know why as the food is delicious! The food was piping hot even by the time I'd got home and served it up. Shall be ordering again!
